Christ's Love

Woke up this morning to the news that India is at stage 8 ‘Persecution’. The chart depicting various stages of Genocide shows that we are one step closer to fulfilment of the goal. The year 2021 recorded hundreds of incidents of hostilities against Christians. Sharing one such incident here.

The above video of an angry woman slapping a Christian went viral last year. The lady identified as Jyoti Sharma, leader of the Hindu extremist outfit, Dharma Jagaran Samanvay Vibhag (Religion Awakening Coordination Division), slapped and held the Christian by his neck, and threatened him and other believers to not share the gospel in their Sector. All this happened in Bhatti police station limits in Bhilai District of Chhattisgarh state while the senior police officials simply looked on.

The Christian decided to forgive and refused to report the assault, on the other hand, Sharma received accolades, felicitation, and honor for her so-called brave act.

The other day, we all, Telugu speaking Hebron youth from different states, were having a gala time on Clubhouse reminiscing our Sunday School and VBS days, taking turns to sing old theme-based, story-based songs and talking about our sweet old memories. And, this song describing Christ’s love struck a chord with our hearts reminding us to love even those who hate and oppose us.
